Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account and using Trading Journal you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. Trading Journal is provided by Lunde Invest AS ("we", "us"), org. no. 819 991 782, Norway.

2. What Trading Journal is — and is not

Trading Journal is an educational performance-tracking tool for traders. It lets you log and import trades, analyse your own results, track prop-firm rules, maintain a trading plan and review AI-generated feedback on your own data.

Trading Journal is not a broker, not an investment adviser and not a trading platform:

• We never place, modify or cancel orders on any account.
• We never hold, move or have access to your funds.
• Nothing in the app is financial, investment or tax advice. AI-generated insights are informational commentary on your own logged data.
• Simulated projections (including the Monte Carlo simulator) are hypothetical — see the risk disclosure at the bottom of every page.

3. Plans and payment

• Free — core journal, 1 trading account, CSV import. No card required.
• Pro — $19 per month.
• Elite — $29 per month.
• Founder Lifetime — one-time payment, every feature and every future update, no recurring fee.

New users get a 7-day Pro trial without a card. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable VAT/sales tax. Subscription prices may change with 30 days' notice; a lifetime purchase is never re-billed. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

You can cancel any time in the app. You keep access for the period already paid. Partial periods are not refunded. Statutory consumer rights in your country remain unaffected.

4. Broker and platform connections

Where auto-sync is offered, connections are read-only:

• You authorise the connection yourself, either on your platform's own login page (OAuth) or by creating a read-only API key on your platform and entering it in the app.
• We never ask for, receive or store your platform password.
• A connection can only read executed trades, order history and balances. It cannot trade or move money.
• You can disconnect at any time in the app, and revoke access on the platform's side.

Platform and prop-firm names are used only to describe compatibility and do not imply any affiliation, partnership, sponsorship or endorsement.

5. Your data

Your trade data is yours. You can export it (CSV) and you can delete your account and all its data yourself in the app — deletion is permanent. See the privacy policy for details.

6. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate account information and keep your login secure.
• Only connect accounts you own or are authorised to connect.
• Do not abuse, reverse-engineer, resell or disrupt the service, and do not use it for unlawful purposes.
• You remain solely responsible for your trading decisions and for complying with the rules of your broker and prop firm.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and third-party platforms may change or restrict their data access at any time. We may improve or change features; material changes to these terms are announced with reasonable notice.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits or indirect damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes belong to the ordinary Norwegian courts, with legal venue in Haugaland tingrett, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
