Trading Journal is a journaling and analytics tool. It connects to the platform you already trade on, reads your closed trades, and turns them into statistics, guardrails and coaching. It never trades for you.
We are not a broker
Trading Journal does not accept deposits, hold client funds, route orders or offer any brokerage, clearing or advisory service. We are an independent software tool that reads your own trade history from the broker or platform you have chosen. Your trading relationship stays entirely with them.
What a connection can and cannot do
The same limits apply to every platform we support.
Credentials and tokens are stored encrypted and used only to fetch your trade history. Where a platform offers OAuth, you sign in with the platform itself and we never see your password.
You can disconnect a platform or delete every trade and account we hold, at any time, from your subscription settings. See our privacy policy.

The importer auto-detects columns, handles partial fills and nets them into round-trip trades.
Trading on something not listed? If it exports a CSV with symbol, side, quantity and price, the importer handles it — and tell us, so we can add it properly.
Prop firms are platforms, not integrations
Funded accounts run on top of a trading platform. If your prop firm gives you a Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Rithmic or ProjectX account, you connect that platform — the account works the same as any other. Separately, our guardrail engine ships rule presets for Apex, Topstep, MyFundedFutures, Take Profit Trader and FTMO so trailing drawdown, daily loss and consistency targets are tracked against the real rules. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any prop firm.
Platforms & partners
If you run a trading platform, a prop firm or an education community and your traders would benefit from a journal that reads their fills directly, we'd like to hear from you. We integrate as a read-only connection, we list partners honestly, and we don't claim relationships we don't have. Traders who connect a platform reach a real person through the support chat inside the app — connection problems get answered, not queued.
